Our hand-crafted Joshi Jackets are a unique one off piece that are carefully put together using original textile designs from West Bengal. They are all hand-stitched in pure cotton and the designs on the prints are put together to give individual combinations of print and colour. They have a home-spun vintage feel to them which is similar to a type of patchwork effect especially with the running stitch work, Kantha, a technique which is typical of this part of India.
Each one is a complete work of art and we run a limited edition of these due to the labour and craftmanship used to make these pieces.
This style is chic and fitted and can be worn casually or smart.
